Happy 1st Birthday Dogs Trust Brighton!

We can’t believe it’s already been one year since the Dogs Trust Brighton Charity Shop opened!

Since we first set-up shop in St James’s Street, Brighton, we’ve had such a warm welcome from the local community and the shop has been going from strength to strength.

A new kind of charity shop

When we first opened our doors back in October 2016, Dogs Trust Brighton was launched as one of the first in a new breed of charity shop in Brighton, or anywhere else in the UK.  Its been a departure from our more traditional store format, with an emphasis on top quality products in a stylish and elegant shopping environment.

The shop is designed to be a top destination for even the most stylish of Brighton fashion aficionados, and sales of our pre-loved merchandise has helped raise tens of thousands of pounds for pooches in need at our rehoming centres all around the UK.

It’s all thanks to you

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have supported us over the last year, and helped make Dogs Trust Brighton the success it is. We are especially grateful to all our wonderful volunteers. Without you, none of this would have been possible!

We would also like to give special thanks to the Hanover and Kemptown community groups who have given us so much support over the last 12 months by boosting our donation drives and inviting us to your local events. We really feel part of the local community.

And, of course, who could forget all the wonderful four-legged friends we have made. Your waggy tails and pitter-patter of tiny paws have brought joy to us all. There’s always a treat waiting behind the counter for you!

Dogs Trust Brighton Charity shop is located at 50, St. James’s Street, Brighton BN2 1QG and is open 10 –  6 Monday to Saturday and 11 – 5 on Sundays.
