I spent much of my career in sales, marketing and business development roles, so I understand how important it is to focus on the customer in order to achieve results. My first job was as a copy editor with Penguin Books - fantastic training that I’ve drawn on ever since. I was in book publishing for twenty years, mainly in sales and marketing roles, and subsequently started my own business selling books to big brands for promotional use. More recently, I spent ten years as marketing and business development manager with a top twenty accountancy firm. For the last twelve years, I’ve been running my own copywriting business, Results Department, providing copywriting, editing and proofreading services mainly to SME businesses.
