I’m very pleased to confirm that, following my recent announcement that PCN would close, Leif Kendall has decided to take over the running of the organisation.
Leif is the ideal director for PCN. He is a very experienced copywriter, manages a local writers’ group and is an acknowledged expert on freelancing, having written the book Brilliant Freelancer.
Leif will be aided by the many copywriters who have very kindly offered to help in the wake of my announcement that I would be stepping down. I also hope to stay involved myself.
Unfortunately, it still won’t be possible to run the conference this year, but the site will stay open and PCN as an organisation will carry on.
Earlier I stated that Pro membership payments would be suspended. I have now reinstated these, so upcoming payments will be taken as normal.
In due course, Leif will introduce himself to members and set out his plans for the future. For now, I’m sure everyone will join me in thanking him and wishing him all the best for the future.
