Job summary We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing/Social Media Assistant to join our growing marketing team. This role is a 5 day office based role ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and eager to contribute to a variety of marketing initiatives, from social media execution to event coordination.

The successful candidate will play a key part in helping us execute and distribute marketing campaigns across social platforms, assist with event organisation, and collaborate with internal teams to produce compelling content that aligns with our brand and goals. Key responsibilities Social Media Execution: • Manage the day-to-day execution and distribution of social media content across platforms.

Implement social media strategies in alignment with overall marketing and event strategies. Content Collaboration: • Work closely with the creative and copywriting teams to ideate and produce engaging campaign video content for social media channels.

Email Marketing: • Manage the company’s email distribution using Omnisend, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all communications to our subscribers. Internal Marketing Updates: • Distribute monthly marketing activity and updates internally to keep the team informed about ongoing campaigns, successes, and upcoming events.

Blog & Case Study Publishing: Regularly update the company blog and website with new case studies, success stories, and marketing content. Monthly Case Studies: • Collaborate with the copywriting team to conduct and publish case studies on key projects and campaigns, showcasing results and insights.

Sponsorship Giveaways: • Organise monthly sponsorship giveaways with our partners, ensuring all logistics and promotions are well-coordinated. Event Assistance: • Help the marketing team execute trade shows, events, and exhibitions.

Assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring smooth operations on the day. Data Analysis: • Perform basic data analysis to measure the performance of social media campaigns, providing insights to help optimise future efforts.

Key skills and qualifications • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Experience implementing social media strategies and handling social media accounts. • Basic understanding of data analysis to measure social media and email marketing campaign performance. • Ability to work collaboratively with creative and copywriting teams to develop engaging content. • Familiarity with email marketing tools (experience with Omnisend is a plus). • Knowledge of blogging platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce) and social media management tools. • A proactive and willing attitude, ready to take on new challenges and contribute to team efforts. • Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability. Desirable experience • Previous experience supporting marketing teams in trade shows, events, or exhibitions. • Familiarity with video content creation for social media. • Basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) would be a plus but is not essential.

Salary – £30,000 per annum
