Looking back now, it’s obvious I was only ever going to be a freelance copywriter.
You see, whether I was working in an office, a marketing department, or with the clients of the digital agency I co-founded, I was always the go-to-guy for words.
As soon as I realised those words could prompt action, improve search rankings, and tempt people to click, share and buy, well, I was hooked.
When I’m not writing, I’m reading about writing. About the psychology of persuasion and the science behind why we buy. I’m keeping tabs on new techniques and looking for every inch and opportunity to make sure it’s my client’s brand, product or service that wins the day.
So, if your next marketing campaign, blog, website or brochure needs words, then I know a guy who’ll write them. Spoiler alert: It’s me.
